About the artist:
Esra Gülmen is a Turkish born, Berlin based visual artist. Inspired by human psychology and the small struggles of everyday life, she sees her art practice as a form of self therapy. Her work, based on the contemplation of human interactions and society stereotypes,is always witty and humorous, constantly moving forward in an attempt at disarming the tiny but overwhelming struggles of life, including living and working abroad.
