About the artist:

José Quintanar (Madrid, Spain) is an Amsterdam-based artist whose work explores the book as a space for drawing, play, and structure. Represented by Florence Loewy Gallery (Paris), he is pursuing a Ph.D. at the Universidad Politécnica de Madrid on The Book as Public Space. His publications include Dutch Landscape (Rollo Press, 2024) and Good Morning(Terry Bleu, 2021). He has been recognized with awards such as Most Beautiful Swiss Books 2025 and the Prix Unique du Livre (Chaumont, 2024), and his work has been shown internationally in Paris, Hangzhou, and major art book fairs.
